Unglückliche Stunde

Was sich so ergeben kann, wenn frau den Schlüssel verliert und den einzigen Ersatzschlüssel jene Person hat, die eigentlich gar keinen mehr haben sollte!? Zum Beispiel trifft frau zufällig eine Bekannte, die, wie sich dann bei einem gemeinsamen Bier herausstellen wird, auch eine eigenartige Schlüsselgeschichte zu erzählen hat. Und was das Ganze mit Mäusen oder Hamstern und weiteren Unzulänglichkeiten des Lebens zu tun hat, erzählt Fendt in seiner Berliner Großstadtfrauen-Beziehungsskizze mit großem Situationsgespür und Wirklichkeitssinn. UNGLÜCKLICHE STUNDE’s first shot is already a source of charm and joy: as the door of an apartment building closes inexplicably slowly, the glass panel reveals the dim reflection of a woman who has just left home to go about her day. The next shot will bring both comedy and tragedy. The same woman is looking desperately for her backpack and her day won’t be easy: she has locked herself out and her ex-partner is the only one with a spare key. A portrait of the tiny annoyances and dramas of life comes into focus, capturing the unlikely beauty of familiar street-corners and old friends. (Lucía Salas)
