Ringo and Inako are on the run from loan sharks and end up in an apartment owned by Ringo's friend Shimamoto. But there was one condition: They only can stay there for a night. Confined in the small place, the two try to seek peace for while. Actually, what resonates back to them in the air are confusion, insecurities, exhaustion, and, most of all, guilt towards what they did before. The film unveils the couple's intensified emotion in the closed-room drama, which includes experimental attempts as inserting documentary footage, facing the camera for monologues, and interchanging the lines between the genders.
