This accessibility statement applies to the website www.viennale.at.
Status of Compatibility with the Requirements
Viennale is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-Free Access to Websites and Mobile Applications (Web Accessibility Act – WZG), which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
The requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 – Conformance Level AA – are being aimed for.
Currently, the website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. Some content and functions are not yet fully accessible.
Third-party-systems
No statement can be made regarding the compliance of third-party content – which is beyond the control of Viennale – with accessibility standards. This content may either be embedded in the page (embedded content) or linked to.
Disproportionate Burden
PDF documents provided on our websites are not accessible – within the meaning of a disproportionate burden. We are committed to continuously addressing and improving outstanding accessibility issues. However, the effort and costs involved in implementing some of these measures must be assessed to determine whether they constitute a disproportionate burden.
Semantic structure of content (SC 1.3.1 – Level A): heading structure on article pages, film archive, and festival archive will be revised retroactively as far as editorially possible.
Note: Work to correct deficiencies is ongoing. The website is being continuously improved both technically and in terms of content to ensure full accessibility.
