The Viennale offers access for wheelchair users at all venues.
Gartenbaukino four wheelchair spaces and two disabled parking spaces
Stadtkino im Künstlerhaus, Urania each two wheelchair spaces and two disabled parking spaces
Metro Kinokulturhaus two wheelchair spaces in the Historic Hall
Österreichisches Filmmuseum two wheelchair parking spaces

Accompanying persons have free admission and a seat in the immediate vicinity of the wheelchair space.

Tickets for wheelchair users are available via telephone +43-1-526 594 769 (credit card payment) or at the pre-selling box offices and theater box offices.
The ticket for the accompanying person is free.

INDUCTIVE HEARING SYSTEMS

All Viennale cinemas are equipped with inductive hearing systems. For structural and technical reasons, reception is not possible at all seats in the cinemas. You will soon find the corresponding seating areas here on this page.

AUDIO DESCRIPTION FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE

Audio description for blind and visually impaired people is planned for selected films at the Urania.
visually impaired people. The narrative image description can be received with equipment provided especially for this purpose (Dolby Fidelio). There are 20 receivers available per screening. Please reserve a device by phone at 01 526 594 769 by 8 pm the day before the screening. The devices will be handed out at the checkroom in the Urania. The ticket for the accompanying person is free.
