Paris, today. Dorcy, a young Christian black man, wants to marry Sabrina, a young Muslim girl. It would be simple and easy if she didn’t have forty “brothers”, and if this unconcerned wedding wouldn’t raise all the taboos still heavily anchored in both communities: no marriage between blacks and Arabs. Slimane, the elder brother of Sabrina’s family and keeper of the traditions, is determined to oppose to their union by any means necessary.
