Rahtree: Flower of the Night is derived from the old formula of the Thai horror movie genre. Meaning that there is every kind of flavors in the movie for people to satisfy like in the old days: romance, tragic love, mystery, suspense, surprise and most important of all, laugh, but it is presented in a different and mostly unexpected way. The English meaning of Buppha Rahtree is Flower of the Night and I think it is quite appropriate since it explains the real character of the protagonist and what she had become. Rahtree: Flower of the Night does not have any social subtext in specific and Yuthlert Sippapak didnt want to say anything socially or politically: It is made for the pure enjoyment of the audience.
