He talks to contemporary witnesses, theorists, experts and actors who explain with expertise how Alfred Hitchcock brought the motion picture from the technicolorful-fifties into a 'darker' time period: „You don't live any longer near the Rockwell family“, says one of the interview partners, „You live near the Manson family“.
