“Beauty makes sex sex”, writes Anne Carson. But what is beauty? Where is it? Does it lie in shapes, textures, colours, smells, tastes or the eye of the beholder? Perhaps it is a shape-shifting creature; the secrets of pleasure cannot be grasped. DILDOTECTÓNICA explores the realm of pleasure through several materials, together with a singing voice which leads us through the tale. A ceramicist wants to create dildos that are neither heteronormative nor capitalistic and works at a site whose history is linked to the task: many centuries ago, two nuns once had a love affair here.
