Ein einzigartiges Konzertereignis! John Fords großer Stummfilm- Western 3 BAD MEN erlebt eine außergewöhnliche Neuinterpretation: Die Wiener Avantgarde-Band Blueblut (feat. Khadijah Pamelia Stickney, Mark Holub, Chris Janka) vertont live – mit Theremin, Gitarre, Schlagzeug und Elektronik – die Geschichte der drei Tunichtgute, die eine verwaiste junge Frau unter ihre Fittiche nehmen und für ihre Zukunft sorgen. Koste es, was es wolle. Historischer Hintergrund dieses bewegenden Films ist der Dakota Land Rush 1876 und den dramatischen Höhepunkt bildet der Akt der Landnahme selbst, buchstäblich ein Rennen um die besten Plätze. Spring, 1876. Gold has been found on Sioux territory, and the US government has set the date for the rush on the precious metal. Emigrants from around the world, a crooked sheriff and a motley crew of bandits pile up in a terrain far from God and civilisation, where violence can explode at any time. At first glance, the vast prairies, thrilling horse races, rows of stagecoaches against the skyline and massive cast of extras moving westward are unmistakable: this is John Ford territory. But the true Fordian touch can be found elsewhere. 
It lies in a female protagonist in trousers with sassy eyes and flirty gestures who still dreams of romantic marriage. It lies in a misleading male lead whose charm stems from his humorous fragility. It lies in the indeterminate tone, where comedy and horror can inhabit the same image. And most of all, it lies in those bearded bad guys, marvellously vulnerable, who can burst into tears and die with a smile. In a lawless land whose values are yet to be established, Ford carves out one of his own: the multiplicity of a face, cracked open by a film camera.
