Yervant Gianikian, born in Merano in 1942, and Angela Ricci Lucchi, born in Lugo Romagna in 1975, have been filming together since 1975. They work primarily with found footage and also make installations, including "Visions of the Desert" (2000) and "The March of Man" (2001). Retrospectives of their films are shown in Milan, Paris, New York and Lisbon.
