RAMIRO
Born 1959 in Lisbon. Studied History and Philosophy as well as film at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon. In 1989 he realized UM PASSO, OUTRO PASSO E DEPOIS..., his first feature film. In 1991 he started working on XAVIER, which film he completed after several years of interruption in 2002. Besides his work as a filmmaker, he has also been working at the Cinemateca Portuguesa since 2002. In 2012 the Viennale dedicated a monographic exhibition to Manuel Mozos.
