Brian M. Cassidy (born in 1977 in Poughkeepsie, New York) (born 1976 in Montreal) and Melanie Shatzky studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and have been working together since 2004. In 2005 they founded the production company Pigeon Projects. FRANCINE is their first feature film.
