Born in 1977 in Tehran, Iran, grew up in Texas, is a director and screenwriter. Her short films and documentary films won numerous prizes at international festivals. Bani Khoshnoudi was an artist-in-residence at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and was selected for the Cinéfondation Writing Residency at the Cannes Film Festival, where she wrote her first feature film ZIBA.
