Norman Phiffier (Lewis), for some reasons dogwalker, gets in the Tuttle store passed from one department to the next. The dictatorial Mrs. Tuttle wants Norman to disqualifies himself as the future husband of her daughter (incognito elevator operator in the Tuttle store) Norman does his best to make this happen, but with the final orgy of destruction with a vacuum cleaner gone wild his magnanimous modesty comes in the way and even Mrs. Tuttle softens.
