The Nutty Professor

In this Jekyll - and - Hyde variant has the alter ego of ingeniously clumsy and dangerous experimental chemistry professor Kelp everything that is missing: Buddy Love is a womanizer, handsome, cool - but still a monster. Lewis summarized this paradox in an essential scene: After Kelps first transformation the focus narrows down to a point-of-view shot from his eye, where he perceives the horrified reactions of people passing him. But instead of the expected gruesome deformity we get shocked with the immaculate appearance of Buddy Love.
