The time has come for the warriors of Obitanie to be once again on the alert, as they go in pursuit of Manjas-Kébir, the bandit who has abducted the daughter of Rixo Lomadis Bron, a rich land-owner who rules over the shepherds of the Purple Mountain; but time has also come for Rixo Lomadis Bron, who accuses Manjas-Kébir of the murder of his daughter, to exhort every inhabitant of the region to hunt down the murderer; and finally the time has come for Fogo Lompla, an outstanding searching warrior and the hero of the story, to start wondering about Manjas-Kébir who cant be found, about his fight for the shepherds liberation, about his warrior existence, constantly on the road, and about his impossible love stories. Voici venu le temps is a social, political and economical fable taking place in a not so imaginary country in which people exploit one another, betray one another, look for love by all means.
