On a 21st century park bench, Oliveira unites Don Quixote with poets Luís Vaz de Camões, Miguel de Cervantes and the novelists Teixeira de Pascoaes and Camilo Castelo Branco. Together, carried by telluric waves of thought, they wander between past and present, glory and defeat, emptiness and alienation, chasing that most unreachable of stars.
