<i>Highway</i> is a documentary on the life of a circus family wandering the steppe lands of Kazakhstan. Living in a small mini-bus and travelling the bumpy roads between remote villages, their performances are far from spectacular, yet they hang on to the life they have chosen. The film empathetically depicts their daily life on the road.
