Semero smelych

The title heroes, five men, a woman and a "black passenger", a teenager who smuggled himself on board when the group sets off to the Arctic. He provides doltishly and kind-hearted the "comic relief" for the polar activists, who risk their lives for the Soviet progress. The adventure film genre as propaganda for virtues such as selflessness, patriotism and daringness, but also peoples' friendship (the Soviet cinema has its own "White Savior" narrative) and equality, here in an almost exaggerated Stalinist modesty.
