ORLANDO VARGAS
Orlando Vargas has been living in Uruguay for the past five years with his wife Alice and son Thomas. Orlando is under pressure from those in power. His assistant Gaspard is openly worried about him, but Costas, a man Orlando sees discreetly, celebrates his courage. Under constant police surveillance, Orlando seems indifferent to the danger which lies waiting for him. Only Thomas will witness the rage his father tries to drown in alcohol. Surprising those around him, he decides to leave with Alice and Thomas, travelling to Joséfina, the last coastal village before Brazil. In Joséfina, everything happens at once. The same day they arrive, Orlando doesnt go home. Alice will have to face the truth about the man she loves who subtly announced his own disappearance.
