In a Berlin subway, Robert meets Viola, the object of his unrequited love for many years. The reunion makes their feelings for each other revive, forcing them to rethink their current lives.
Moonlight connects the past and the present of the protagonists in a mysterious way, as it tells their short, melancholic love story, in which a small hair barrette turns out to be a great declaration of love.
This film is part of the special program ]]>The Future of Cinema. Selected works from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin]]> and will be shown in DFFB Programm 2.
