MONRAK TRANSISTOR
TRANSISTOR LOVE STORY, A
Pan is rotting away in a Bangkok prison, watched over by an old man from his village, who tells his misadventures: Pan was a charming young man with a promising future, a talented singer, engaged to the lovely Sadaw. Called up for military service, he abandoned his wife, then deserted the army to seek his fortune, only to become the slave of a crooked manager he ended up killing. Then came the theft of a valueless necklace which proved his undoing: a cruel sense of fate hovers over this romantic, musical melodrama, this sweet and tender piece of candy with a satirical poison in the center.
