LYNCH

David Lynch is considered a master of the filmed nightmare since 1977, when he released Eraserhead, one of the most feverish and surreal films in the history of cinema. Compiled from over two years of footage, Lynch shows the artist painting, working on his website, getting irritated on set, and telling stories. We follow the director and artist as he discovers beauty in ideas, leading us to a journey through the abstract which ultimately unveils his cinematic vision and reveals him also as an artist who continues to explore and experiment in countless mediums. Lynch is pure Lynch, magnificent when celebrating the beauty of the underlying horror, striking in its aesthetic coherence, terrifying in its unembellished frankness.
