It’s 1973, and the Hood family are feeling the winds of change from the Sixties blowing through their suburb. Ben is caught between the comforts of home and the allure of neighbor Janey Carver. His teenage daughter is trying her sexual powers over Janey’s sons, while his son Paul pursues a disinterested high school sweetheart. The night the ice storm sweeps into town, the members of the Hood family will transcend their tragicomic pursuits, as they come to understand the delicate web of emotion and honor that binds them together, and which may eventually tear them apart.
