A film by Andy Warhol, it says, is by all means a film by Andy Warhol even if he is not (was not) present. Like in this movie. Warhol arranges the camera, sits his friend and former mentor Henry Geldzahler in front of it and absconds.
“If you sit somebody in front of a camera for one and a half hours”, Geldzahler says, “and don't tell them what to do, this person will do everything…he or she will mobilize his whole range of expressions. I went through my entire repertoire of gestures.”
