Dai-Kenjyu

Ikuo receives a suspicious order from a client demanding him to manufacture ten guns in two months. After trial and error, the weapons are completed. But the client postpones the payment and orders 40 more. The unfulfilled agreement creates tension, ultimately leading to a war. Using guns, a metaphorical device, Ohata Hajime portrays our desire for and frustration with power, with such intense and vivid violence. (Jang Byung Won)
