Among Jean-Luc Godard’s closest collaborators in his later years, Fabrice Aragno turns ATELIER ROLLE – UN VOYAGE into a sensorial journey into the director’s Swiss atelier, where he conceived some of his most adventurous works. Interweaving near- abstract close-ups of Godard’s home library and studio with a sonic tapestry of sound clips from his filmography, Aragno’s tribute to his late friend offers a rare, intimate glimpse into the life and work of one of cinema’s most influential figures, approached with deep sympathy and curiosity.
