Was sehen wir hinter dem Schlüsselloch des Titels? Fragmente persönlicher Erfahrungen vielleicht, in einem ganz eigenen, flackernden Collage-Stil verdichtet? Oder surreal-abstrakte Malerei in Stop-Motion-Technik? Chaotische Bleistiftschraffuren, die eine materiale und emotionale oder gar existenzielle Metaebene aufspannen und dabei eine hypnotische Wirkung entfalten? Eine heimelige Horror-Studie, die viele audiovisuelle Assoziationen antippt, dann aber woandershin abtaucht? Vielleicht ja all das zusammen und noch mehr im Auge der Betrachterin. (Roman Scheiber)

What happens inside a film camera? What do the individual frames say to each other when no one is listening? Through a journey through classic hand- made and stop-motion animation techniques, KEYHOLE CONVERSATION invites us to look at the secret world of celluloid in its most intimate manifestation; pencil marks, brushstrokes, cut-outs, geometric shapes and lines on virgin celluloid all converse in a language still unknown.
