L' Avenir le dira
The Future Will Tell
(Gerhard Midding)

It has long been the dream of many filmmakers to not only show the world of work, especially manual labor – they also want us to really feel the rhythm, duration and effort of work. Work as a part of life, day after day. How can a film do this? Pierre Creton is both filmmaker and farm worker. Focusing on farmers Pierre and Arnaud Barray, this documentary offers an immersion in the cycles of day and night, the rituals of clearing and preparing the land, the practices of observing and tending.
