Media partners of all sorts are accompanying the Viennale and contribute to an intensive communication about the festival. Some are producing special editions and formats for the festival, which we would like to present to you here.
Viennale-Standard in 4 issues
The daily newspaper DER STANDARD produces four special supplements to accompany this year's festival, in which the festival and its programme are reported daily.
Publication dates: Sat 14.10., Thu 19.10., Sat 21.10., Wed 25.10.
Online, the daily newspaper reports in detail about the festival under derStandard.at/Viennale and provides users with many important programme tips in addition to the print edition.
Viennale-Falter
In the attractive Falter-supplement to the Viennale you can find brief descriptions and dates of all films, as well as informative background reports on all the main focuses of the festival and its guests.

The October issue of ray Filmmagazin features a V'23 focus. During the festival, ray authors publish their experiences, impressions and film reviews live from Viennale events online.

Ö1-breakfast cinema and reporting on Ö1
Ö1 dedicates two early performances to the audience on Wed 25.10. and Mo 30.10. at 6.30 am each in the Gartenbaukino (more information HERE). Ö1 will also accompany the festival with detailed reports in the "Morgenjournal", "Mittagsjournal" and "Kulturjournal".
FM4 Festivalradio
FM4 Homebase special (Wed 25.10., from 7 pm to 10 pm) and online coverage on fm4.orf.at/viennale. as well as competitions on FM4's social media channels. The station also dedicates the film PERPETARTOR (R: Jennifer Reeder, USA/France 2023) to the audience.
Viennale - ORF Reporting
The ORF film department reports in detail about the Viennale in the "kulturMontag" (on October 16, ORF 2) and in a special program (Viennale Spezial on October 29, ORF 2) as well as in the "matinee" and the "Kulturzeit" on 3SAT and accompanies the festival events continuously in the different editions of the "ZIB".
ORF Wien
The Landesstudio Wien provides Viennale program tips in "Wien Heute" (daily 7 pm., ORF2), live coverage at the opening gala in the Gartenbaukino (Wed, 19.10.) as well as ongoing coverage of the festival - also on air on Radio Wien, frequency 89.9 | 95.3
Viennale-Diary at INFOSCREEN
For many years, the festival has been accompanied by INFOSCREEN, the medium in public space, via the popular Viennale Diary. From Wed 11.10. INFOSCREEN reports on current film highlights, specials, DJs and discussions of the V'23.
