Media Partners - Special Editions and Formats 2020

Media partners of all sorts are accompanying the Viennale and contribute to an intensive communication about the festival. Some are producing special editions and formats for the festival, which we would like to present to you here.

Viennale-Standard in 4 supplements

The daily newspaper DER STANDARD produces four special supplements to accompany this year's festival, in which the festival and its programme are reported daily. Publication dates: Sat 17.10., Thurs 22.10., Sat 24.10. and Wed 28.10.
Online, the daily newspaper reports in detail about the festival under theStandard.at/Viennale and provides users* with many important programme tips in addition to the print edition.

Viennale-Falter

In the attractive Falter-supplement to the Viennale you can find brief descriptions and dates of all films, as well as informative background reports on all the main focuses of the festival and its guests.

The October issue of ray Filmmagazin features a V'20 focus. During the festival, ray authors publish their experiences, impressions and film reviews live from Viennale events online.

Ö1-breakfast cinema and reporting on Ö1

Ö1 dedicates two early performances to the audience on Tue 27.10. and Thurs 29.10. at 6.30 a.m. each in the Gartenbaukino. Ö1 will also accompany the festival with detailed reports in the "Morgenjournal", "Mittagsjournal" and "Kulturjournal".

FM4 Festivalradio

Viennale emphasis in the reporting of FM4: daily Specials with numerous guests and draws, FM4 Homebase special (Wed 28.10., 7  - 10 p.m.) and on-line at fm4.orf.at/viennale. In addition the radio station dedicates
the film to KAJILLIONAIRE (D: Miranda July, USA 2020) to the audience. 

Viennale - ORF Reporting

The ORF film department will report in detail about the Viennale in a special program (on Mon 26.10. at 11:25 p.m., ORF 2) and in the "matinee" as well as in the "Kulturzeit" on 3SAT.

ORF Wien

The Landesstudio Wien provides Viennale program tips in "Wien Heute" (daily 7 p.m., ORF2) as well as ongoing coverage of the festival - also on air on Radio Wien, frequency 89.9 | 95.3.

In addition to daily reports on the Viennale, the Viennese city channel W24 brings daily film tips from festival director Eva Sangiorgi and dedicates a complete special edition of the program "Wiener Bühnen" to the Viennale.

Daily Viennale tips in Kultur Heute on ORF III

The culture and information channel of the ORF accompanies the Viennale within the framework of "Kul- tur Heute" (7.45 p.m. on weekdays) for the entire duration of the festival. In addition to program tips for the Viennale, tickets and Viennale bags will be raffled in the program.
