Media partners of all sorts are accompanying the Viennale and contribute to an intensive communication about the festival. Some are producing special editions and formats for the festival, which we would like to present to you here.
The daily newspaper DER STANDARD produces four special supplements accompanying the festival, in which the festival happenings and film program are reported on a daily basis.

In the attractive Falter-supplement to the Viennale you can find brief descriptions and dates of all films, as well as informative background reports on all the main focuses of the festival and its guests.

The October issue of ray Filmmagazin features a V'18 focus. During the festival, ray authors publish their experiences, impressions and film reviews live from Viennale events online. Daily on www.ray-magazin.at
Celluloid Viennale Special 2018
Special issue with in-depth stories about the programme, interviews and a practical programme as a supplement to the Wiener Zeitung.

Ö1 dedicates two breakfast-screenings to the audience on Tue 30. 10. and Tue 6. 11. each at 6.30 a.m. in the Gartenbaukino. "Punkt Eins" invites a Viennale guest to the studio during the festival.
During the whole month of October the Viennale forms a main focus for the cultural commentatorship of FM4. The highlight are five specials in the Homebase with several guests, film tips and tombolas. Again online this year at fm4.orf.at/viennale

The ORF film editorial team reports in detail about the Viennale in the "matinee am Sonntag" on 21 October and in the "Kulturmontag" on 29 October.

ORF Vienna delivers program recommendations by actors and film producers in "Wien Heute" (daily at 7 pm, ORF2) as well as several reports on the festival - also on Air on Radio Wien, frequence 89.9 | 95.3.

Viennale-Diary on Infoscreen – your city channel
For twelve years the festival has been accompanied by INFOSCREEN, the medium in public space, in form of the popular Viennale Diary. Starting October 16th, INFOSCREEN will be informing about current film highlights, concerts, specials and discussions of the V’18.
In addition to the daily Viennale coverage, the Vienna city channel W24 shows daily film tips from festival director Eva Sangiorgi and invites Viennale film guests to its studio.
