Stephan Bechinger

Stephan Bechinger attended the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark, then worked as an editor in Cologne until he began his studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2008 in the department of editing. In the course of a year abroad, he worked as a trainee at Cinema Jenin and studied for one semester at the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem. In 2014, he was nominated for the Avid Förderpreis Schnitt for editing the short film BOULEVARD'S END at Filmplus. In 2015 he completed his studies with editing the documentary HINTER DEM SCHNEESTURM. In 2018, he received the German Film Critics' Award for the best editing for DAS UNMÖGLICHE BILD.
