TEHERAN TABU
Born on 6 December 1965 in Istanbul, is a German actress who lives and works in Berlin and Cologne.
Her first international cinema production was the Swiss film 180° – WENN DEINE WELT PLÖTZLICH KOPF STEHT, directed by Cihan Inan. The film was shown at the festivals in Antalya and Saarbrücken, in the Canadian Sudbury, in Marrakech as well as in the Spanish Ourense (Award for Best Screenplay).
In the Kinoproduktion ALMANYA – WILLKOMMEN IN DEUTSCHLAND under the direction of Yasemin Şamdereli, she plays Leyla Yılmaz. The film was awarded a silver Lola at the German Filmpreis.
