NOTES ON AN APPEARANCE
Born in 1987 in Livingston, New Jersey. He studied English Literature and Cinema Studies at the Columbia University in New York. Since 2013, he has shot and edited a series of video-recorded directors’ talks for the online film magazine MUBI Notebook, and written film reviews and essays. He works as a journalist for publications including "The Nation" and industry journal "Film Quarterly". SIX CENTS IN THE POCKET, his third short film, premiered in 2016 at Berlinale Shorts.
