MARTIN EDEN
Born in 1976 in Caserta, Italy, is an Italian director and writer. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Several of his films have been presented at international film festivals and have received various awards and nominations, e.g. his short film LA BOCCA DEL LUPO (2009) won the "Teddy Award" at the Berlin International Film Festival. In 2015 he directed his first fiction film, BELLA E PERDUTA, which won him the Junior Jury Award at Locarno International Film Festival. His latest film MARTIN EDEN was nominated for a Golden Lion in Venice and won the "Platform Prize" of the Toronto International Film Festival.
