MONOGRAPHIE: PIERRE CRETON

Born in 1966, is a French agricultural worker, visual artist and director. After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Le Havre, he decided to become an agricultural worker in the Caux region. This experience provided him with the material for most of the films he made from 1992 onwards. He is the author of about twenty films, all of which were screened at the Marseille International Film Festival. L'HEURE DU BERGER won the Grand Prix de la compétition française and the Groupement national des cinémas de recherche prize in 2008. He occasionally works in art and film schools (Paris, Geneva, Beijing, Angers). Pierre Creton often collaborates with French architect and sculptor Vincent Barré.
