JING CHA RI JI
Born in 1959 in Beijing. Studied at the Beijing Film Academy and at the Centro Sperimentale of Cinematography in Rome. In 1990 she shot her directorial debut SOMEONE JUST LOVES ME, which earned her great success in China. Afterwards she concentrated on the "Beijing Trilogy": FOR FUN (1993), ON THE BEAT (Viennale 95) and I LOVE BEIJING (Viennale 01).
