Maren Eggert

Born 1974 in Hamburg, Germany, is a German actress. She completed her acting training at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich from 1994 to 1998 and played at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and Bochum, among others. She is a member of the Thalia-Theater ensemble in Hamburg and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Maren Eggert played her first cinema roles were in DIE APOTHEKERIN (1997) and DAS EXPERIMENT (2000). For her performance in DIE FRAU AM ENDE DER STRASSE Maren Eggert was awarded the German Critics' Prize. She also became known for her role in the TV series TATORT: KIEL (2003 to 2010), where she played a police psychologist.
