Jurij Meden is a curator and head of film program at the Austrian Film Museum in Vienna. Previously, he worked as head of the program department at the Slovenian Cinematheque in Ljubljana and as curator of film exhibitions at the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, New York. He was also editor-in-chief of the film magazine KINO! and a member of the editorial board of the film magazine Ekran, as well as a selector/advisor for numerous film festivals. Together with Matevž Jerman, he directed ALI JE BILO KAJ AVANTGARDNEGA? / ALPE-ADRIA UNDERGROUND! which won the Štiglić Award for Best Directing from the Directors Guild of Slovenia in 2024.
