Born in 1966 in Thun / Switzerland, is a visual artist, dramaturge and director. Originally trained as a wood sculptor, he works in the field of film, installation and performance art. Daniel Zimmermann has realized numerous art projects in museums, galleries and public spaces. His films have been screened at prestigious international film festivals such as the Berlinale, the Rotterdam International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival. He received numerous awards and scholarships for his work.
