Daniel Nehm (born 1982 in Frankfurt/Main) studied cinema in Vienna and Paris. He worked for ARTE and BBC in cinema and television, focusing especially on documentary film. For several years, he lived in the “banlieue”, the outskirts of Paris, where he directed the short films BLEU, BLANC, ROUGE (2016) and MUES (2017). Furthermore, he is a film curator for festivals and writes on cinema (Die Zeit, Revolver Filmmagazin). Currently, he is living in Ecuador and preparing his next film project.
