He is a French artist and director. After graduating from Beaux-Arts school in Dijon, he joined the Académie de France-Villa Medici in Rome as a filmmaker. César Vayssié produces films at the intersection of visual arts and dance, that venture beyond the boundaries of cinema. His works have been shown at prestigious museums, such as the White Cube in London, the Folkwang Museum Essen, the MoMA, the MOMI of New York, the Tate Modern or Centre Pompidou.
