Bruno Jorge was born in Recife, Brazil in 1981, but moved to São Paulo at a young age. He studied Communication at a university in Brazil, Documentary Film at ESEC in Paris, France, and Master 1 - "Arts du Spectacle" at ULG in Belgium. He also studied in Toronto, Canada, and at EICTV in La Habana, Cuba. To date, he has directed and edited more than 10 short to mid-length films, including dramas and documentaries. His films have been selected and awarded in numerous festivals around the world, including the FESTIVAL DE CANNES - CINEFONDATION - and the Rotterdam International Film Festival.
