Gary Burn's sardonic comedy is set in a city where the downtown buildings are interconnected in a maze of walkways and tunnels. Four young office workers, Tom, Sandra, Randy, and Curt have each bet a month's salary to see who can go the longest without going outside. Focusing on one lunch hour on day 24, things start to go haywire as their co-workers prepare a party to celebrate the retirement of the company's founder. This is a movie about controlled insanity, the kind of workday freakiness no one even realizes is weird until it's too late. (Gary Pevere)
