Gabriele Hochleitner's film is a highly personal attempt to approach both Rome and the life and work of late Austrian poet Ingeborg Bachmann who had lived in Rome for more than fifteen years. The director talks to poets, teachers, but also to ordinary
people. They talk about their own lives and the beauty of their city. Thus, a very unusual and original portrait of the often filmed city develops.
