SO LONG NO SEE

A static shot from a train in a station in the Berlin S-Bahn. The doors close. The noise marks the cut to the next shot. So Long No See is a composition of images, sounds and silences, that concludes with the reading aloud of a letter of tribute to Luc Yersin, a film sound recording engineer who died prematurely in May 2008. But beyond this epitaph, the film is also a subtle exploration of cinema itself.
