Safety Last! Funny Or Die

This programme (“Best-of”) kicks off with a small collection from the comedy website “Funny or Die”, which Ferrell launched together with Adam McKay in 2007. The first sketch out of the four on show, namely “The Landlord”, is also the very first of “Funny or Die”. Ferrell is curlyhaired and cute, and late in paying the rent. For this reason, his landlady Pearl suddenly shows up at his doorstep, swearing “You pay now, bitch!” The way Ferrell calms down the two-year-old girl in a princess dress – and the means he uses for this purpose – shouldn’t be missed. Another highlight is “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis”: Ferrell and his host Galifianakis are at least as funny as the two ferns surrounding them.
