The third film of Jim Mc Bride's «documentary» trilogy (after David Holzman's Diary und My Girlfriend's Wedding), Pictures from Life's Other Side follows Jim and Clarissa in a journey across the USA, waiting for a baby and looking for a place to settle. Crude, witty or plain scenes of everyday life compose a moving portrait of early-Seventies America - an uncharted country, a generation with no direction home.
This film is screened together with Pull My Daisy.
