Emmanuel Lefrant’s film work is based on abstraction being apprehended as landscape. A landscape that is actor or producer of emotions and subjective experiences. LE PAYS DÉVASTE relates to the anthropocene, the current geological age, viewed as the period during which human activity has been the dominant influence on climate and the environment.
