Selected examples of a New Cinema
A group of young actors is going to the countryside to rehearse a play by Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais. Beaumarchais was a man of words and that is what the theatre troupe is trying to convey with a performance of his \"Figaro\". Although the financing of the project is not secured, all seems to be going well, until rumours start to circulate that the lead actress wants to quit rehearsals, which causes quite some trouble.
This film is screened together with Joachim Gatti and Le Streghe – femmes entre elles.
