MASTERS OF HORROR: DEER WOMAN
John Landis's Deer Woman follows Detective Faraday as his low-level cop position leads the way to a strange and mysterious murder investigation. A number of men are found dead, and they all have something in common: All were killed while in a very aroused state, by a killer that appears to be both woman and animal demon. While trying to piece together clues with the help of beat cop Jacob Reed, more bodies turn up killed the same way. Faraday soon learns of an ancient Native American legend about the «Deer Woman» who is supposed to be a seductive young beauty who just so happens to have deer legs and hooves on the bottom half of her body. Known for creating some of the most loved comedies of our time, John Landis seems like a weird choice to helm an episode of the Masters Of Horror series. With Deer Woman, he keeps a lot of those elements intact. (Chris Hartley)
